About Me:
Welcome to the BoogeyBoard! I hope it becomes a regular destination for you and that you'll contribute your opinions, knowledge and pictures to the site. We also hope to be able to bring to you topics that are of interest from a number of different people who come here as friends.

Christine and I own Boogey Lights, having purchased the company seven years ago from VRP Industries, the company that introduced Boogey Lights in 1989. Our company is actually named Boogey Inc. and is incorporated in the State of Tennessee. We live on 15 acres in a small East Tennessee town, pretty much equidistant from Knoxville and Chattanooga.

While we enjoy our business and our travels, we also enjoy being at home. We're at the stage in our lives where we want to create an environment for our grandchildren to enjoy when they visit us. Christine's dream is to have our own petting zoo for the grandkids to enjoy and learn about animals. At this time we have 8 dogs and 2 cats.

We are practicing Catholics and value our faith as an integral part of our personal and professional lives. We believe that actions speak louder than words.

I have 4 children in their 20's and Christine has a daughter the same age. We have 3 grandchildren with a 4th on the way. We're blessed with wonderful kids and grandkids at a relatively young age. We hope to enjoy them for many years to come.

Thanks for visiting. Peace to you and yours.

Podcasting - The Next Big Thing

You may have heard the term "podcast," but I find that most people really don't have a clue as to what a podcast is, how it works, or why they should care. It wasn't until I spent some time with my son a few months ago that I realized that podcasting and the iPod would absolutely change the world. That's right, this WILL change the world.

Podcasting is revolutionary because it fundamentally changes the way we get audio and video programming, as well as it dramatically increases… Continue

Blogging vs. Twittering

I've never kept a blog, as it always seemed like too much work to keep up with. Plus, who cares about my thoughts and feelings throughout the day? I mean, let's be real. So I don't plan to start one now, at least not the personal diary version.

But, what if there were a communication tool that you could use to quickly log your daily activities from time to time, was very easy to use, allowed only brief text messages and most of all was fun? Something that keeps you in touch with friends… Continue

Do you need a CDL?

I recently learned that I need to obtain my commercial driver's license (CDL) in order to lawfully drive our rally rig. Yes, it's true. Any not for recreation vehicle pulling a trailer with a GVWR of over 10,000 lbs where the COMBINED weight RATING of the truck & trailer is over 26,000 lbs is considered a Class A commercial vehicle. This is a federal law and it applies in all 50 states. Oh for the good ol' days when ignorance of this law was bliss.

Fortunately my driving record is c… Continue

Scott,
I'm finished...and it looks great! My son, Brian took these last night and I wanted to share the results and get your comments. I ended up with 7 MEGA TNT sticks, 3 MEGA TNT Grenades, 3 standard TNT sticks & 4 Cut N' Click strips totaling 36 more LEDs. The MEGA TNT lights are amazing but the key is placement. You can't see a single one until you hit the switch. Thanks for such an excellent product and service thats hard to beat anywhere.

Scott,
When I'm finished, I think you'll change yours to amber. Lots of great comments on mine already. Met Marc your dealer from LITE CYCLE in Hollywood, FL last night at Pompano HD bike nite. Nice fella...and very busy "litin' bikes". He doesn't carry the Mega TNT series & doesn't sell the shorter cut & click pieces so I just work with Chanda & Christine. I should be finished with my project next weekend and will send more photos then. Just get prepared to change yours to amber. Thanks for everything...great product, great service!

The File Name is:4965564.ps
File Type is:ps_auto_file,780kb.
There isn't anyway to change it when you're saving it on your computer. It isn't really an eps file even though link says it is.
