Hail Hell
We took a group of 24 bikes with 30 riders to Lake Lure on Sunday.
We had a great 2 hr ride to get there, Choked down a burger and a cold one, looked up at the sky, and decided it was in the groups BEST interest to hit the trail. About an hour back, ran into a good ole Carolina hail storm. OUCH! But on the bright side, no one ended up with major damage, and it only took us 6 hrs to get home. You can really learn a lot about people hanging out for a couple of hours under a gas pump awning! Some of the things I hope will never get talked about again
