Light kit for 2 kinds of bikes

I know in michigan led lights are legal to have running. . I currently have a Honda Shadow Deluxe VLX 1996 bike. I dont know if the stator can handle the extra amps used by these led kits or not. With that said is there an upgrade stator you guys recommend that would allow me to handle the lights for sure? I need to be able to have my GPS running as well lol (I have the wiring for that hooked up and dont have problems). What kind of light kit would you guys recommend?

I plan on buying a Ducati MS 1100S sometime in the next 3 years (I hope to be able to pay cash for it thats why I am hoping in 3 years). Do any of your kits work well with that bike?

I should say I have only been riding for 2 years now so I am a "new" rider. I am 29 years old with 4 kids and a wife who loves to ride and someday wants her own bike (still trying to tell her she needs to start out on my bike and not get a bigger bike that what I already have to learn on).

The Ultimate Engine Kit with 78 LEDs uses only 0.6 amps, which should not be a problem for your bike. I've never known anyone to have a problem with adding our lights to a '96 Shadow.

ok I made the post mostly because I have had issues with my stator but I believe it was all because I had 2 out of 3 wires cut in half. Fixed them with some new connectors and heat shrink and all seems well with it now but being as I just fixed it I wasnt sure.
